New Year’s Eve is upon us! I hope you have something fun and exciting planned for the evening! I had one more nail art design in my head that I thought could be the perfect feminine accessory to that LBD. Let’s get started…
I don’t know about you but I am ready to say goodbye to 2016. It seemed like all of the baggage carried over from 2015 and the clouds didn’t start to clear until this last quarter. I’m hopeful 2017 will be a better year for me and for the blog. It would be really nice to feel well enough to create and share my 1st birthday design here and also to do something fun for my 3rd Blogiversary in April.
This gel nail art design came together fairly quickly. And I just LOVE that about gel!! I started with 2 coats of Madam Glam Pinky Swear on all fingers but my ring. That nail got 3 coats of Madam Glam Pink & Holo followed by a coat of Akzentz Shine-On No Wipe topcoat.
I used Cirque Colors AU, which is made with 23k gold leaf, to accent my thumb, middle and pinky nails.
Next, working on one nail at a time, I applied a coat of Akzentz No Wipe Topcoat over the Cirque Colors AU nails. Then I sprinkled AB Round Point Back Micro Crystals from WiiNo Shop over the wet topcoat and cured. These crystals are a bit bigger than CrystalPixie and have a completely different effect.
If you’ve ever wanted to try Kiyoco’s jewelry now is the time! She just launched her website and ALL PIECES ARE 40% off!

You likely know how much I love my big bling so I was really happy with the way this design turned out. I thought it would be the perfect addition to that little black dress. You’re probably thinking “it’s pretty Karolyn but not practical to wear” and I had that in mind when I had it on. The chain is long enough that if I were actually going out I would have moved the sections to adjoining fingers and been perfectly comfortable. But I get that big bling is not for everyone.
I wish you a fun and safe New Year’s Eve and hope to see you back here in 2017! Thank you so very much for your continued support. 💖💖
Thanks for reading! I’ll see you at the next post.
