I have another Fall design for you today that I am really excited about! It has been on my mind since I first saw the tree image on a new plate. And it brings back some really good memories. Let’s take a look!
In case I haven’t said it before, I was transplanted here to the desert from another planet called New England. I am a Connecticut girl through and through. And I can remember that my Mom would take my brother and me apple picking in the Fall. Some of the apples we brought home were the “eating kind”. And then there were the special ones that went in my Mom’s awesome Apple Crumb Pie. Mmmm….
This is a gel manicure but there is good news. I used 2 brands that both have matching lacquer colors in case you happen to like these! I started with 2 coats of LeChat Perfect Match On The Red Carpet and Madam Glam Shimmering White respectively. And I finished all nails with a coat of Akzentz Shine-On No Wipe Topcoat.
Next, I started on the Apple Tree nail to see if I could achieve my vision. For this task I used UberChic Beauty’s Lovely Leaves plate, a combination of Mundo de Unas Green and Lemon Tree mixed on the plate and a Clear Jelly Stamper.
I started by stamping a portion of the falling leaves design (on the bottom left of the plate) on the tip of my nail to make grass. Then I used the same design, in full, and stamped the top of my nail twice to fill out the tree canopy.
Finally, I used Mundo de Unas in Black to stamp the tree and floated regular Madam Glam topcoat over the nail. I used the tacky layer to place several apples, also known as Swarovski Light Siam flatback crystals. Then I went over the entire nail with Akzentz Shine-On.
For my ring finger, I used BLC for Corde Line Film 8mm Gold from Daily Charme to create the grid pattern which was inspired by MoYou London’s new Trend Hunter Collection. I placed a single strip of tape on each red glitter nail to coordinate.
I applied more Akzentz Shine-On and finished by placing a Daily Charme Red Apple Charm using Akzentz Bling-On. Here’s a closeup look at the accent nails.

I just loved the way this design turned out! Somewhat simplistic for a Nails Of Aquarius look, yet more than enough going on to keep me staring at it all day.
But I would really love to hear what you thought of it. Also, was apple picking a tradition in your family as well? Or was there something else you only did in the Fall?
Thanks for reading! I’ll see you at the next post!
