I have another Christmas themed design to share with you today. Rudolph was always one of my favorite Christmas stories and holiday TV specials as a kid, so I just had to have him on my nails! I hope you aren’t too KBShimmer’d out yet because there is still more to come. When I fall hard for something I don’t mess around!!
The inspiration for this design, aside from my love of Rudolph, is the awesome Rudolph The Reindeer Swarovski Charm on my ring finger that I found at Daily Charme. He wasn’t the easiest charm to wear, but he was gorgeous!
I started with 2 coats of Nail Pattern Boldness Glitter A-Peel
, then applied 2 coats of KBShimmer Holly Back Girl
to my index and pinky fingers and 2 coats of KBShimmer White Here, White Now
to my ring finger.
I used the Dab & Spread method to apply KBShimmer Pine-ing for Yule
over a base of Sally Hansen Insta-Dri OMGhost
on my thumb and middle fingers. I did use a toothpick to position the glitter as desired on my middle finger. See my post “KBShimmer Winter 2014 Collection Swatches & Review: Part 2
” for more information on these polishes.
I finished with 1-2 coats of HK Girl Fast Drying Topcoat
over all untextured nails.
I embellished my ring finger by fishing out a few stars and trees from Pine-ing For Yule
and lining them up along the bottom of my finger. Then I used a fair amount of nail glue to secure Daily Charme’s Rudolph The Reindeer Swarovski Charm

Another fun holiday design that turned out just the way I hoped! And this one was even fairly easy to create. I hope you enjoyed it and I would love to hear your thoughts! I read and respond to every comment. I realized after originally posting that my N.A.I.L Group had a “Reindeer” prompt this month so I’m in! Please take a moment to scroll down and view the designs from other group members.
Happy Holidays! I will see you at the next post.
