Peppermint Kisses Nail Art Design featuring Bellaluna Cosmetics

Today I have the nail art design I created exclusively with the Bellaluna Cosmetics Winter 2014 Collection that I reviewed for you yesterday. With just 2 weeks until Christmas I really have the holiday on my brain. And, with the colors I chose from this collection, I couldn’t help but create my first traditional holiday design of the season.

Bellaluna Cosmetics Enchanted Woodlands, Bellaluna Cosmetics Peppermint Kisses, Bellaluna Cosmetics Belle Of The Ball

I had originally planned to include this nail art with the polish review, but that turned out a bit lengthy thanks to my verboseness! So, sadly, I don’t have my typical step-by-step photos for you and I am sorry for that. I won’t let it happen again I promise!

I started with a base of Nail Pattern Boldness Glitter A-Peel on every nail. Then I applied 2 coats of Bellaluna Cosmetics Peppermint Stick to every finger except my ring, which received 2 coats of Bellaluna Cosmetics Belle Of The Ball. I finished with a coat of HK Girl Fast Drying Topcoat and let it dry for a little while before moving on.

Next I placed Candy Cane decals from KBShimmer’s Winter Holiday Sheet randomly on my index finger and polished over them quickly with a thicker coat of Bellaluna Cosmetics Enchanted Woodlands. Since the sheet comes in red, in used a small piece of a larger decal as a sticker on my pinky.

Then it was time to stamp the Candy Cane pattern on my middle finger. I used the Multicolor Stamping Technique (use the link to see my YouTube tutorial) with a design from MoYou London Festive 03 and Mundo de Unas Red and Green stamping polishes. The finishing touch was adding an elegant Gold Holiday Candy Cane from Daily Charme to my ring finger with a touch of glue.

I am so pleased with the way this design turned out and how well the Bellaluna Cosmetics polish colors worked together! As I’ve shown, they even layer very easily over decals. Be sure to refer to yesterday’s post “Bellaluna Cosmetics Winter 2014 Collection Swatches and Review” to read my thoughts about this great new indie brand and her fantastic polishes and see lots of glorious swatch photos!

This is a Winter Collection of 12 polishes so there are several less “Christmasy” colors to choose from. AND, if you use my special discount code AQUARIUS17 to pre-order now you can save 17% off your order! There is no minimum order and this code is good through December 24th. Samantha has indicated that all orders will ship no later then 12/18.

I hope you enjoyed this design and will consider giving this brand a try! As always, I would love to hear your thoughts! I read and reply to every one.

Happy Holidays! I’ll see you at the next post.
