Ah, it is Wednesday again and we all know what that means! A look ahead to the new plates MoYou London will be releasing on Friday. As I anticipated, they will be adding more plates to the Alice in Wonderland Collection they launched last week. Let’s take a look!
I’m not sure if anyone else has noticed that MoYou London seems to have gotten into a nice rhythm with their new collection releases. There’s an initial release of 4-6 plates and consecutive weekly releases until the collection completes at somewhere between 10 and 15 plates. I hope they continue this because I find it especially helpful now that the free shipping has ended and I need to plan my purchases again instead of just placing an order every time 4 plates strike my fancy.
There will be 4 new plates releasing on Friday and they are all Collage/Landscape style. Well that makes it a bit easier! I didn’t have much to say last week because I’m not really an Alice In Wonderland fan, but they’ve added some other elements to these plates that I really like.
I know someone will be excited to see the teapot and teacup on this Alice plate! I like them and I don’t even drink tea! But you could do such a fun design across fingers since they included her hand and arm. And, while it’s not super unique, you all know I have a sweet spot for scroll patterns.
Another thing I never seem to get enough of is hearts and the Queen of Hearts plate really delivers! I love the bustier and all of the different heart designs inside the circles.
The White Rabbit plate doesn’t speak to me as much as the others, but that scroll work…UGH! It gets me every time!
And finally The Mad Hatter plate. There’s so much cool pattern going on here my eyes can’t settle on one thing in particular to love, but I think I need it!
So the feedback on last week’s release was essentially “meh”. What do you think Alice In Wonderland fans? Did they do better with round 2? They got my attention this time and there will most likely be more plates next week.
These plates will be released on Friday, November 28th, and retail for £4.99 (approximately $8.50). They can be purchased directly from MoYou London.
Thanks for reading! I’ll see you at the next post.
