Today I have a design for you that was inspired by all of the gorgeous nail art created for Black & White day of #31DC2014. I’ve always found the combination to be striking and I’m a little surprised it took me this long to do a design. I also added a twist to it that was inspired by a design Jacqui at Crafynail created recently.
Look Ma! Two hands! The nails on my Cinderella hand have been being a bit of a PITA recently and I had to file them down shorter than I prefer. This design required longer nails, which I just so happen to have on my dominant right hand at the moment. Go figure!
I added topcoat and allowed it to dry. Then I used 2 smaller sized dotting tools to apply 1 bigger center and 2 smaller side dots of Julep Missy, a titanium metallic. I added a small dot of Rica Whiteout in the center of the middle dot. Of course I finished with yet another coat of HK Girl Topcoat. My nails have a pronounced C curve that made adding the dots a little more difficult than I was expecting, but it was worth it!

I absolutely loved this design and thought it was the coolest thing every time I caught a glimpse at the undersides! It felt like my nails were truly “finished”. If it wasn’t for the fairly miserable process of trying to get all that black polish out from under my nails I would give serious thought to doing this with each and every manicure.
On a completely different note, I have to tell you that I wish I could have taken a photo of the crazy game of hand Twister I had going on with my right hand in the light box, my eye on the view finder and my left hand awkwardly looped over my head to be able to reach the shutter button. OMG what a joke! Thank you Amazon Prime for getting my new remote shutter button to me ASAP!
I hope you enjoyed this nail art design as much as I did! I would love to hear your thoughts!
Thank you for reading! I will see you at the next post.
