Today I have what should be my last Christmas nail art design. But we will see as the day is still young and I didn't get through all of my new holiday polishes! Since we rarely have snow here in New Mexico, never mind specifically for the holiday, I started a tradition of creating a White Christmas Nail Art design.

I have another Christmas themed design to share with you today. Rudolph was always one of my favorite Christmas stories and holiday TV specials as a kid, so I just had to have him on my nails! I hope you aren't too KBShimmer'd out yet because there is still more to come. When I fall hard for something I don't mess around!!

I am excited to share my first Christmas design with you today as part of the third monthly link-up of my Hobby Polish Bloggers Group (HPB) on Facebook. Our theme this month was holiday, festive or winter. YAY! I love doing seasonal and holiday focused nail art designs!!
I have the second of multiple posts of swatches and reviews for polishes from KBShimmer's Winter 2014 Collection for you today. I know I told you last time that I had completed my shopping for this collection and that's probably still true, unless the 4 shades that I didn't buy really start taunting me. Christy did an amazing job with this collection and I really fell hard!

OK, I've been very bad this week. It's Friday morning and I am just writing my MoYou London post about their weekly release that should have been done on Wednesday. I'm sorry! In my defense, I have been working around the clock (literally!) on holiday nail art ideas for you and they all feature MoYou London plates. There is another new collection for us this week! Shall we take a look?
December 18, 2014
We interrupt our regularly scheduled Holiday Nail Art to bring you...wait for it...FLAKIES!! With America at large receiving their ILNP Flakie pre-orders last week, myself included, I decided I would show you a gorgeous Limited Edition Flakie from KBShimmer instead.
December 17, 2014
Today I have the first of multiple posts of swatches and reviews for polishes from KBShimmer's Winter 2014 Collection. Why not just do one post you ask? Great question! There are a few reasons but the primary one us because I don't have all of my polishes yet and I'm not even totally certain I am done shopping. I am so in love with their collection this season!

I apologize that this post is not at all timely! I am not sure when this changed, but I have discovered recently that I can't do 10 things at once anymore. Bummer! Anyhow, MoYou London has another brand new collection for us this week! It's called the GAMES Collection, and please call me out if I am wrong, but I've yet to see a collection completely focused on games. Let's take a look!
Today I have the nail art design I created exclusively with the Bellaluna Cosmetics Winter 2014 Collection that I reviewed for you yesterday. With just 2 weeks until Christmas I really have the holiday on my brain. And, with the colors I chose from this collection, I couldn't help but create my first traditional holiday design of the season.
December 10, 2014
I am exited to show you several polishes from Bellaluna Cosmetics Winter 2014 Collection! This is the premiere collection of 12 polishes for this new indie brand brought to you by the lovely Samantha. Shall we take a look? WARNING: Serious photo spam after the jump!

Have you ever created a nail art design and looked at it later in photos and said to yourself "WOW, I did that"? This happened to me with a design I created recently for my Literary Lacquers 2014 Community Collection review and I love it so much I just have to give it it's own post!
December 5, 2014
I am so pleased to bring you several polishes from Literary Lacquers 2014 Community Collection! Amy, the lovely lady behind the label, started this holiday tradition last year as a way to honor some of the great woman she meets through polish and keeps it going this year with collaborations from several of your favorite bloggers and IGers. Be sure to use the links to learn more about the inspiration for their colors! WARNING: Serious photo spam after the jump!

I am so excited to have my very first guest post up today on Crafynail!! "It's Frosty" is my first winter design of the season and I included reviews for the 2 gorgeous KBShimmer polishes I used to create it. Plus there is a link to my stamping decal tutorial on YouTube in case you haven't seen it yet. Please pop over to Jacqui's blog to check it out: Guest Post from Nails Of Aquarius!

So here we are again on MoYou London Wednesday, as I've come to think of it. I am going to cut right to the chase this week. There are 2 new Festive plates and I LOVE both of them! I know what I'll be doing first thing Friday morning because I predict these will sell out fast! Want to see??
December 2, 2014
I told you a little while back that I was on a lace kick, but never finished showing you the designs that I created. Sorry about that! The previous design was demure, but this one is a goes a little more to the dark side, literally. I don't know if you watch Nashville, but we've been catching up on episodes in Tivo and I had the song Scarlett sang about black roses in my head when I was working on this.

Happy Thanksgiving to all of you that, like me, decided to get in a little blog time before going into that Turkey Coma! This was one of those last minute "I need a Thanksgiving manicure" decisions. Since we are still having Fall weather here in New Mexico I chose to do a final nod to the season with a more traditional color scheme before switching into Winter mode.

Ah, it is Wednesday again and we all know what that means! A look ahead to the new plates MoYou London will be releasing on Friday. As I anticipated, they will be adding more plates to the Alice in Wonderland Collection they launched last week. Let's take a look!
You asked for it and I delivered! I just released my latest HD YouTube video on "The Advanced Stamping Technique: How to Make and Apply Stamping Decals". It was more about the making the tutorial than the nail art this time, however the end result was this fun Halloween design I created for my Mom.

Today I have my second post for the monthly link-up of my Hobby Polish Bloggers Group (HPB) on Facebook. This group is best for the more casual polish blogger and the wonderful ladies there have been an excellent resource for me. It is a Closed group, so you'll need to send a request to join.
We held our first link-up last month with a Halloween theme and it was really fun for everyone that participated. This month we are going with a broader theme called "Fall Favorites". I've decided to use it as an opportunity to revisit the polishes I loved this Fall and the nail art I created using them, along with one you haven't seen before! Warning!! Picture heavy after the jump!

MoYou London has been very busy this week and I have lots to tell you about today! First, they are introducing a new Alice In Wonderland Collection. Second, they are adding a new Festive plate. And finally they are adding 5 more polish colors. Let's take a look!
November 19, 2014
It's a milestone day for me! This is the 100th post that I have published on my blog! WOW did that go by fast! I had another design planned for today, but changed gears to something a little more "Karolyn" when I saw it was a special occasion.

I am excited today to finally be delivering on a promise I made a while back by sharing a video tutorial I made on the LeadLighting technique. When I created my first LeadLight design, called Pretty Blossoms, back in May and several ladies asked me to make a video to prove that it was as easy to do as I claimed. Let's see if I can put my money where my mouth is!

Creating a negative space design has been on my To Do List for far too long. I have no idea why I was putting it off since it was actually fairly easy to do and I am really happy with the way it turned out. AND, coincidentally, this week's prompt for my N.A.I.L Group (Nail Art Ideas Linkup) is geometric. YAY! I've got the design and it's on time!

Today I have a review for you for three items I selected from the Born Pretty Store and a video tutorial to show you how I created a nail art design using them together. If you happened to have purchased stamping plates from Born Pretty's original release, this video presents one creative way to use the smaller designs.

I have been really into lace nail art recently, as you'll see soon enough. The look of lace stamped over a nude nail has captivated me and inspired me to create this design. I'll try my best to space the others out some to keep it interesting.
MoYou London has been busy working to add more stamping polish colors to their existing collection. This week they will be releasing 7 new Metallic Stamping Polishes. And they stamp over Black!! Shall we take a look?

It's Wednesday again and I am excited to bring to you the latest enhancement to MoYou London's stamping plate conglomeration. This week they will be expanding the Cookbook Collection they launched last week. If you were hoping for baked goods, ice cream, teacups and pots your wish has come true! They will also be adding 7 Metallic Polishes to their line of stamping polishes, but I plan to address that in a separate post. So let's take a look at those plates!
November 1, 2014
Have you heard about leopard glitter yet? I found out about it recently and excitedly rushed to KBShimmer to order a bottle of Spot Sign. This polish has been available for a little while now, but I think many polish lovers will be seeing it for the first time today (11-1-14) when KBShimmer releases their Winter Collection. So why the excitement you ask? Well, it's no secret that my freehand is laughable at best. Sure I could stamp a leopard print if I wanted to, but I would be more or less confined to the design. But with the glitter I can do this...

I have the final design in my Halloween trifecta for you today. This one is to honor my two black fur babies, Chance and Destiny, who you'll get to meet again towards the end of the post. "Spooky" is the last theme for October in my N.A.I.L Group (Nail Art Ideas Linkup) and I think this design is the closest I've gotten to it.
I am sorry my Wednesday MoYou London post is a bit late! They are launching another new collection this week and I was trying to get some additional information before I posted. Let's take a look at the Cookbook Collection!
October 28, 2014
When I saw "Favorite Indie" as one of the prompts for October in my N.A.I.L. Group (Nail Art Ideas Linkup) I thought to myself "well that will be an easy one". Famous last words in nail art land. I have a drawer of Colors by Llarowe polishes, so that choice was easy. But as I started riffling through it in search of a color combination it dawned on me...if I am going to pay homage to my favorite indie it should to be good, REALLY GOOD.

I have a special design for you today that I created for the first Link-up of my Hobby Polish Bloggers Group (HPB) on Facebook. We plan to do one every month going forward and this time the theme is Halloween. This group is best for the more casual polish blogger and has been an excellent resource for me. I've learned so much from these ladies! It is a Closed group, so you'll need to send a request to join. Now for the nail art!
October 24, 2014
I have the first of my Halloween designs to share with you today created with a "new to me" brand called Literary Lacquers. If you are like me and don't believe in coincidences then you'll enjoy the story of how I came upon this brand.

It's Wednesday again and that means it's time for a peek at the plates MoYou London will be releasing this Friday. They are doing an update to the Rebel Collection, which is kind of cool since it is the first one in the 6 months I've been blogging. Shall we take a look?

It's never a bad time to give a great gift to someone special or treat yourself. And with Christmas right around the corner MoYou London's new Stamping Gift Sets will surely be well received. Listen up Gentlemen, if your Lady likes nail art, she will LOVE this! These sets are also perfect if you want to try stamping for the first time, since everything you need can be included. Stay with me while I show you how to create your perfect set!

I was out and about the other day, the temperature was in the low 70's and I noticed some of the trees had started to change colors. Finally Fall has come to New Mexico! So I got inspired to sneak in one more Fall design before my focus changes to Halloween. And I just so happened to have received two polishes from Serum No. 5 recently that I thought would fit the theme perfectly!

First let me say that I am sorry you are having trouble learning to stamp your nails. I had a terrible time myself, struggling for months and giving up many times, figuring it just wasn't meant to be. I watched a ton of videos during that time created by some of the most experienced stampers on YouTube. I picked up bits and pieces from all of them and ultimately learned that there are several different ways to perform all of the steps that are part of the stamping process. Some of them worked for me, some didn't, and I added my own twist to a few. I decided to create this set of HD videos to show you every way I know of to do each step and I perform them using varying tools. This is a lengthy post so I recommend you grab a beverage and get comfy.
